Critics Consensus

Though it uses a well-worn formula, 17 Again has just enough Zac Efron charm to result in a harmless, pleasurable teen comedy.

Caryn James Marie Claire Endearingly funny. Dec 14, 2017 Full Review Tim Robey Daily Telegraph (UK) Rated: 3/5 Apr 23, 2009 Full Review Nell Minow Beliefnet It relies primarily on charm and unabashed sweetness that perfectly suits Efron's easy grace. Efron is winsome in his first non-HSM vehicle and while the incest storyline is cringey, he and Mann have great chemistry. Far too much Lennon, however. Corinna S It does what you expect it to do.
