Paola Y Raw film, amazing cast, tackles more serious and darker issues. The storyline has a lot of potential but I wish they would improve some of the the dialogue. There are lines that felt a little cliche which were fortunately saved by the great delivery of the actors. Movie has a tendency to jump from one scene to another. I wish it gave more time for viewers to explore the relationships and trauma. Overall, it’s still worth watching. I enjoyed studying acting styles of the actors (especially in indie films) and the topic would always be relevant and thought provoking. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/27/24 Full Review Audience Member If it wasn't for Cybill Shepherds lousy acting this film would have been far more entertaining. Her role as an overprotective mother just disappoints. A story of rape and its effects on a couple. Simple film. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member A movie meant for the serious times, but then one would think there are too many flaws.. However, nothing that jams the brain, with a serious story line, but definitely in need of a better screenplay and dialogue delivery.. What however beats one's sense, is why the male fiancee had to be made so defensive in the entire saga, when nothing was really his fault? Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review nilufer e It was a fine psychological drama. It sure was depressing and not so interesting but the starting was powerful and it got really slow later, I was kind of confused, waiting something to happen. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This starts out with a point and then grows rather aimless. Cybill Shepherd was absolutely terrible. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member The plot is about as slow-paced as it gets, but I still enjoyed it; a very honest film. Tunney and Edgerton played their parts well.
