MaryAnn Johanson Flick Filosopher It's only Leo's refusal to be bowed by all the absurdity her character is being asked to carry that prevents the movie from collapsing under the weight of its own ludicrousness. Feb 25, 2009 Full Review Prairie Miller NewsBlaze Fresh from her Oscar nomination for Best Actress for Frozen River, Melissa Leo once again toughs it out as a trailer park action mom in a macho hardcore world, relying on brains over brawn fierce maternal instinct. Audience Member The story wasn't bad but poorly developed. Melissa Leo's performance was excellent. The rest of the cast seems a little amateur. The suspense takes care of the movie in most scenes. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Not Bad ,Just very sad story ! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member It's only Leo's refusal to be bowed by all the absurdity her character is being asked to carry that prevents the movie from collapsing under the weight of its own ludicrousness. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Not exactly how I feel about this movie. Pretty pointless and senseless, there was no pay off at the end and the end was a bit of a letdown. I will say however, Melissa Leo is amazing as always and until you get to that final act the movie is pretty intense, entertaining and dramatic. The main problem with the film is the reason as to why the events occur, I feel it could have been stronger and in fact giving the kidnappers a reason why they did what they did sort of diluted the film. Something to watch when its on TV. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Boring but I did like the end.! That's one hell of a mom ;) Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Just boring as all hell... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
