The movie plays out like a three episode mini-series. Each third of the film having its own subplot that barely feel connected. As someone who enjoys these types of movies, I got what I wanted out of it and not much else. The acting is fine, not bad but by no means amazing. Chris Pine, for how unlikeable his character is, is giving the best performance here. So in the end, Carriers works for what it's going for but never really adds much to this subgenre of movies.

This was an experience. It actually started off really good. However, it ended terribly. Who are the "carriers" in this thing? I went in thinking that the original four were immune but, carried the virus that everyone else was suffering from. Then they meet "dad and daughter" and daughter is already sick. I was thinking that they would give him the sickness, and leave them both for dead. Anyway, if you're bored. It's horrible, just watch it anyway.

Not a chance would I watch this twice. It's bitter in a thoughtless kind of way. Excesses of its design turn to boredom real quick. And not a single character is interesting, nor the shaky plot which is poorly defined and progresses haphazardly.

So my personal view as I watched this with my family, it was definitely a false hope story in my opinion during the movie I did find it entertaining as at some parts it’ll get you at the edge of your seat with no prior knowledge of the movie. I can get oh the lore where’s the story they made one, and the characters fell apart with the story quite literally, anyway ima give it a 3,5 doesn’t deserve all this hate.
