Rachel Saltz New York Times Gives a joyful sense of what it was like to be a feminist in the 1970s, a time when "everything seemed possible." Rated: 3.5/5 Oct 9, 2009 Full Review Raven Snook Time Out Considering we have yet to see a female President or pass the ERA, its message feels crucial -- even if we gals would like to think we've bridged the gender gap. Rated: 3/5 Oct 7, 2009 Full Review Melissa Anderson Village Voice If Braderman's voice-over narration drifts into nostalgia for a lost utopia on occasion, the testimony of her interlocutors reminds us that even though consciousness-raising groups are a thing of the past, the spirit of the group is very much alive. Audience Member The film is interesting because it is made on the basis of facts. Thinking about God, about life after life... Many movies of this genre u can find using boxxy software Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member A very boring movie about feminism. For one thing, there were way too many people to keep track of. Worse is that there are few to no sources that back up what these women are saying. And all they talk about, essentially, is that it is the men's fault that they weren't accepted. On top of that, they talk only about the past. They are fine now. This documentary could have been a lot better with a bit more source material to back it up, while trimming down the length to just an hour, which is more than enough to explain the simple cause.
