Mel L This is a movie I just couldn't turn off, for all the wrong reasons. The storyline from the beginning was terrible, the pups had nothing to do with it, and most of the movie was just random video montages that I guess were suppose to convince us two people were falling in love. She was possibly the rudest person, which considering her fiance cheated on her with her best friend, we can say she was going through some stuff, but apparently that was the precise quality that endeared her to her boss who literally hired her 2 days previous. He's also a jerk, who punches before he knows whats actually happening, like she couldn't handle herself at all, and confesses his feelings over the phone in a hotel after about a week of knowing this person. But I had to finish it, mostly because of his hair and his accent. But also, like with a car accident, or a fire, I didn't want to see the chaos and the breaking of dreams, but I just couldn't look away. How these movies get made, I just don't know, and I love a cheesy hallmark movie as much as the next upper middle class soccer mom, but this I will never watch again. She clearly forgot she was a paid employee bc she was so full of herself. Sadly- not even adorable puppies could save this one. Come on Hallmark- do better. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/28/23 Full Review logan k A movie only a nihilist can love. Everyone is terrible and nobody changes or learns. The titular puppies are a C-story that they quickly give up on. Nobody has any chemistry. There might have been an interesting horror film cut where the psychopaths one-up each other against the backdrop of the cult employer/landlord, but what we get isn't remotely as interesting.
