See more dave s 09/23/2020 On the positive side, there were a couple of scenes with a sense of genuine dread, a good jump scare, and the villain was…well, villainous, I guess. On the less positive side, this movie felt a lot longer than the actual 90-minute running time, as there were scenes over the first half of the film that were ultimately pointless as they didn't advance the plot, develop a character, or do much of anything. The dialogue was awkward and the actors didn't help any. And it didn't really make a lot of sense in places. How does a wooden door with pillows nailed to it make the room sound proof? When the basement was discovered, why did they never return to explore it? When investigating a missing person report, why do the police run from the basement when they detect the horrible odor? In more experienced and capable hands, this could have been a great movie. As it is, it's not even a good movie. See more 06/28/2020 Creepy.
