SLIM I could easily give a 2 word review, Cocaine Bear! But surprisingly there is much more to this move. Ray Liotta's final performance before passing away and the amazing,as always, Keri Russel ad cache to what could have been a cliche. So get the large popcorn and large beverage. Relax and enjoy the ride. Cocaine Bear! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/02/23 Full Review Harrison R So mad at whomever chose these. 4 movies about abuse, 1 movie that laughs at a guy with Down Syndrome. Irish Goodbye has some very good parts, in spite of that, and should be expanded to a full-length. The Red Suitcase was brilliant and should also be expanded. But fuck Le Pupille. Just another reminder that Catholicism is child abuse, with no other characteristics. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/09/23 Full Review Elizabeth L I enjoyed four out of the five short films. They were excellent. I didn't like the one about the girls in the orphanage. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/03/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Jenny Nulf Austin Chronicle While it’s rare for every title in the Oscar-Nominated Live Action Shorts to be a home run, this year’s crop is oddly shrug-worthy for the most part. Rated: 2.5/5 Feb 21, 2023 Full Review Robert Abele Los Angeles Times The pull of freedom, and defying what’s expected, marks this year’s live-action shorts. Feb 17, 2023 Full Review Jeannette Catsoulis New York Times Fans of sticky sentiment will be delighted with this bundle of live-action shorts, only two of which deserve note. Feb 16, 2023 Full Review Al Alexander The Patriot Ledger They seldom fail to make compelling viewing. Rated: B Apr 25, 2023 Full Review Rob Thomas Capital Times (Madison, WI) It’s a very strong collection of five films from Denmark, Ireland, Italy, France and Norway. Rated: 3.5/4 Mar 2, 2023 Full Review Betsy Sherman Arts Fuse From allegory to metaphysical exploration to simply meta, or alternatively, displaying trenchant realism, the nominees for this year’s ceremony on March 12 are strong.
