Elizabeth W I kept waiting for something to happen - it doesn't Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 05/11/23 Full Review Late R It's got some solid performances, it's nicely shot, and it has some well-written characters, but as far as the undoubtedly intriguing and unique central premise goes, it seems writer/director Juan Cabral didn't know what to do with it beyond the initial idea. I suppose he was going for "poetic" in some sense but, ultimately, there doesn't seem to be much of a point and it comes across as an average drama that has a sci-fi element thrown in in an attempt to make it more interesting. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/26/20 Full Review Audience Member Not as interesting or sci-fiy as I expected. Nothing to say bad about the acting or anything it just fell a little flat for me personally 2.6. I know it’s stupid to think too into sci-fi movies but I find it hard to believe they’ve never run into a single problem over 35 years with both trying to be awake at the same time . Neither of them ever stayed awake late ?!?! And if so the other person just oversleeps everything .... idk . Still like the concept non the less . The South Korean girl is an angel and I will not accept any other answer Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/17/20 Full Review Audience Member Sensitive. Intriguing. Kevin Maher Times (UK) Nowhere to go, nothing to say. Just a cute narrative concept that ultimately eats itself. Rated: 2/5 Oct 9, 2020 Full Review Cath Clarke Guardian It's a beautifully composed, enigmatic movie with a high-concept plot about two men on either side of the planet who are mysteriously connected by midlife despair and existential emptiness. Rated: 3/5 Oct 8, 2020 Full Review Jessica Kiang Variety The rare example of an exceptionally well-made film, from an undeniably talented filmmaker, in which everything works beautifully except the central premise, which doesn't work at all. Dec 8, 2019 Full Review Luis Fernando Galván En Filme A solid and pertinent portrait of two men. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 3/5 Oct 12, 2020 Full Review Carla Hay Culture Mix It wouldn't be surprising if some people watching this movie will fall asleep out of sheer boredom. Jul 11, 2020 Full Review Kristy Strouse Film Inquiry Two/One's enigmatic angle makes for an uncharacteristic and interesting drama. May 10, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews
