      What to know

      Critics Consensus

Though it strives to mimic The Hangover, 21 and Over is too predictable, too unabashedly profane, and too inconsistently funny to carry the torch. Read critic reviews

I thought I was going to have a pretty good time. Just watch The Hangover again.

One of the Funniest movies of 2013. A total blast of laughs from start to finish and does not want to stop. A hilarious and wickedly entertaining comedy that's just pure fun. It's fully loaded with non-stop antics and humor that will have you falling out of your seat laughing and in love with this special trio that take us on the whole ride with them. Miles Teller, Skylar Astin and Justin Chon are truly outrageous together, they have wonderful chemistry and have great character development. The film in all it's absurdity, it still has a undeniable heart that shines with its three young stars

Another poorly done raunchy comedy, 21 & Over is crass and obscene for the sake of being crass and obscene. The story follows two friends who get into a wild night of debauchery celebrating their best friend Jeff's 21st birthday. None of the acting is particularly good, and the characters are poorly written. Additionally, the comedy is formulaic and the friendship moments seem forced. 21 & Over is not without its laughs, but it tries way too hard and ends up being mindless tripe.
