24 Exposures comes across like a clever idea that never got past the concept stage. It might have been fun for him to make, but it's definitely a chore to sit through. Go to Full Review

Some half-baked ideas about representation versus reality emerge in the lax improvised dialogue. Go to Full Review

Is Swanberg pre-empting complaints about his methods by making a film about an artist who is, if not a killer, then at least creepy and unreflective? Maybe, maybe not. But the question will only interest people who follow Swanberg's career. Go to Full Review

Yet if, like said before, Swanberg keeps "chiseling" away, he'll maybe, one day, shape his masterpiece, no matter how much hard material there is to still get through. Go to Full Review

Craig W. @CJWolfe27 Jul 21 One of the worst movies I’ve ever seen See more don s 05/29/2016 Terrible indie suspense movie built around a photographer with a fetish for creating photos of death. The story is boring, with many threads going nowhere and ending in the most ironic way - a character trying to sell the story as a novel and being told that the story is not interesting enough nor does it tell a complete story. The movie producers should have listened to the book publisher's advice. See more 05/31/2015 Things occur in this film, but a plot never coalesces. The events never feel like they are propelling in any particular direction. It felt like the first 15 minutes of a film stretched into an hour and 10 minutes and then a climactic scene that comes out of nowhere and is essentially the climax of nothing. See more 02/08/2015 This was very disappointing. While I think the premise had lots of potential, the final product just seemed like a chore to watch. See more 11/10/2014 Big fan of indie film and thought this was an interesting concept, unfortunately, the execution was terrible and lacks enough substance to support the paper thin story. There really is no plot, the story seems built around supporting an art imitating life imitating art theme, but without any compelling or even interesting arguments presented. See more 08/21/2014 Improvised dialogue can work wonderfully if the actors have a solid feel for their characters, but everyone here seems rushed and uncomfortable. I say SKIP IT!!!
