The story is boring, with many threads going nowhere and ending in the most ironic way - a character trying to sell the story as a novel and being told that the story is not interesting enough nor does it tell a complete story. The movie producers should have listened to the book publisher's advice. See more 05/31/2015 Things occur in this film, but a plot never coalesces. The events never feel like they are propelling in any particular direction. It felt like the first 15 minutes of a film stretched into an hour and 10 minutes and then a climactic scene that comes out of nowhere and is essentially the climax of nothing. There really is no plot, the story seems built around supporting an art imitating life imitating art theme, but without any compelling or even interesting arguments presented.
