Jeffrey P Similar to D.O.A., with assassins, but results as a messy action film lacking focus and moving too quickly for a story as broad in scale as this was. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review Brandon K This movie was pretty forgettable. The plot was atrocious. It wants to be good, the photography was good, the fight scenes were meh. It's an ok watch if you really have nothing better to do and don't want to think. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/06/23 Full Review Liam D A Short quick dumb fun Thriller with some unique ideas and a good score by Tyler Bates (Not Safe for Work, Day of the Dead) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/14/21 Full Review Audience Member 4 stars for the Hawke! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/24/21 Full Review corkball Ethan Hawke is fine in this. Not great, but good. The effects and action scenes clearly were well put together and they spared no effort on the effects. The story, sadly, was not that great, although maybe better than the trailer would lead you to believe. In many respects, this is similar to the movie 'Mile 22'. Hawke's motivations here, after a lifetime of being an asshole, seem suspect, although maybe no more so than John Cusack's baby-inspired conversion in 'Grosse Pointe Blank'. The sci-fi element seemed just plain lame, replete with embedded countdown timer ala 'In Time'. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review h a This movie has a lot going for it. Good photography, acting, directing. They obviously spent a lot of money and worked hard to make 24 hours to live. The downside is the story, it is sort of uninteresting and sometimes kind of weird but it has some of the best action scenes of any movie so… Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Danny King Village Voice This is mostly entertaining ridiculousness, threaded together by the reliable Hawke ... Dec 2, 2017 Full Review Brian Tallerico RogerEbert.com Plotted like a Crank sequel and has dialogue that sounds like it was written by a teenage boy. Rated: 1/4 Dec 1, 2017 Full Review Robert Abele Los Angeles Times There's some reasonably ambitious choreography to a lot of the physicality and camerawork, and until it devolves into testosterone-drenched, operatic silliness, the mix of bullets, blood and banter is dumb fun. Nov 30, 2017 Full Review S. Indra Sathiabalan The Sun Daily (Malaysia) With high speed chases, explosions and one head-scratching scene where the local militia bring knives to a gun-fight, this movie will appeal to those who like non-stop action. Mar 9, 2019 Full Review Sean Mulvihill FanboyNation.com I was never surprised by anything that occurred in 24 Hours to Live but I was never bored as Ethan Hawke's weathered hero amasses a rather large and blood-soaked body count. Rated: 3/5 Oct 30, 2018 Full Review Travis Johnson FILMINK (Australia) ...pretty perfect beer and pizza action fodder. Aug 17, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
