Stephen Holden New York Times "28 Hotel Rooms" slowly expires for lack of air. Rated: 2.5/5 Nov 15, 2012 Full Review Tom Keogh Seattle Times A chamber piece rooted in semi-improvisation. Rated: 3/4 Nov 15, 2012 Full Review Joe Neumaier New York Daily News While Messina and Ireland are fine company, writer-director Matt Ross' conceit tires you out. Rated: 2/5 Nov 15, 2012 Full Review Philip Martin Arkansas Democrat-Gazette ... one of the movie's points is that when you are cocooned with your lover, intoxicated and infatuated, you don't care much about the rest of the world Rated: 87/100 Apr 27, 2013 Full Review Marc Mohan Oregonian The movie's conceit grows a bit stale even with a short running time, and ultimately the whole thing feels more like an acting workshop than a full-fledged human story. Rated: C+ Dec 6, 2012 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue It's an intriguing and well-acted, if gimmicky and repetitive, cinematic experiment that nevertheless feels emotionally detached. Audience Member I loved it. They played out the gamet of emotions perfectly. Simple yet complicated relationship and their onscreen chemistry was very addicting. Just like their portrayed characters. I loved it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member An awful waste of time. Seems like its building to something, but it is just setting you up for a let down. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member quite an interesting and unusual love story Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Discussions inintéressantes, déjà vues des milliers de fois avant, érotisme médiocre, un film sans personnalité Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Although it's sexier than Fifty Shades of Gray, i'ts boring and... weird. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Another dead honest, sad but hopeful, brilliantly acted and utterly romantic movie. "28 Hotel Rooms" is an indie that plays like a sexed-up Neil LaBute play, which just makes the topics of one-night stands and romantic statuses all the more intriguing and questionable. Both Chris Messina and Marin Ireland are absolutely fantastic here. It's a little slow at times, but "28 Hotel Rooms" is a sizzling romantic drama not to be missed.
