Renata Adler New York Times What happens with the film-funny bits and pieces done really quite brilliantly-is that it is not quite worked through. There is no sense that anyone has made a completely, unironically committed effort to work clear through it. May 10, 2005 Full Review Read all reviews

Russ G Some might have called this Dudley Moore vanity project quirky; I'd call it "cheap and just plain bad." Only reason to watch it is the very lovely Suzy Kendall. This might have been a springboard to better things for Mr. Moore, but unless there's a Dudley Moore Cult out there, there's no audience for this film. I breezed through the 90-minute embarrassment in under an hour by skipping past the more awkward bits. But it has some stylistic 60s charm once in a while that's just kind of fun to watch on its own.
