Josh G Two gangs who are quite reasonable, one school where teachers overact and draw huge crowds for Adam Baldwin and another dude to fight to the death for drug charges. They could have had a conversation but bad graffiti and dialogue good but not bad enough be silly funny. And his girlfriend is stuck in the cross fire of 80's music and blue jeans. It's so close to being so bad it's good but it falls short. It has moments of fun but leaves a lot to want, like a good 80's film. More of a time capsule than worth a watch. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/20/22 Full Review Carlos I Another entry in the sea of high school warzone action/dramas. Baldwin in pretty solid in it, as the former gang member who is now going to take on all the toughs for the good of the school. It's decent entertainment if you're looking for one of these, but ultimately it's a pretty forgettable entry in the genre. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/22/22 Full Review Audience Member Classic movie of the late 80´s in vhs a must see for everyone very happy got to see it again. What showed in the movie back then is what shows nowadays bully´s gangs things that will make someone good turn Bad. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review a.l.jude p There's nothing that we could admire on this movie, the 80's attire to be enjoyed though. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Police net a whopping $12k worth of drugs in a high school locker search. It appears every second locker is a drug buyer. Members of the Cobra gang are arrested and blame a former member for narcing. Watch for a young Gina Gershon as a Cobrette. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member So that poster for 3:15 that has this titled Class 89 is actually the French title & obviously a cash in on Class of 1984. They are both movies about violence in high schools but Class of 1984 is a powerhouse of a movie where 3:15 just sorta takes the formula but gives us nothing special. That's too bad because it is a good theme. Now there are many opportunities to make this rise above but they are either mishandled, unexplored or just flubbed w/ poor writing or acting. The best actors in this are sorely underutilized. Ed Lauter is more then capable having a role as a hardass cop that you end up liking in the end. He did it in Death Wish 3 but here he's written much weaker then his talents. The biggest loss is that Mario Van Peebles & his gang should have had a lot more screen time. A better movie about them called The M16s could have been made. The best part about the entire project was Deborah Foreman being briefly naked. I could have freeze framed on her ass for an hour & a half & gave this a better rating Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
