Katie Walsh Los Angeles Times 06/01/2022
Through this unvarnished and sometimes brutal soul-baring process, Litoff ultimately achieves an expression of her grief that is palpable and feels true to the viewer... a heartfelt tribute to her sister’s work and the connection that they shared. Go to Full Review
Ben Kenigsberg New York Times 11/30/2017
The more Hope's own obsession grows, the more involving the movie gets, even as it raises ethical questions about its making - and about those who continue to watch. Go to Full Review
Frank Scheck The Hollywood Reporter 05/11/2017
Rough-hewn stylistically and occasionally bordering on self-indulgence, 32 Pills: My Sister's Suicide nonetheless packs a powerful emotional punch with its unflinching portrait of two siblings dealing with past and present demons. Go to Full Review
Natalie Rahhal Daily Mail (UK) 06/01/2022
Hope's film documents the internal life of a person with mental illness, and the ways that her sister’s struggle and suicide led to the filmmaker’s own mental health and addiction crises. Go to Full Review
Kayla Cobb Decider 12/19/2017
There are no clear answers, emotions, or stories in this documentary. Everything is muddled and difficult in a way that seems to mirror its creator's pain. Go to Full Review

Nikki D Mar 4 I was intrigued by the idea of this doc, and really felt for Hope. However, watching someone break their sobriety the way she did on camera was VERY shocking and triggering for me. As someone who is in recovery, if there had been a trigger warning at the beginning I would've at least been prepared. If I decided to still watch. I'm actually very upset to have watched that. Add a trigger warning for sober people.
