Nicholas Great score. Thrilling Plot, This film has a charm which doesn't reflect the novel. But yields for action all around! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/24 Full Review Flying S Loved it! It feels like one of those old movies. Lydia Leonard as Victoria Sinclair is a must see! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Thirty-Nine Steps is based on a 1915 mystery novel by John Buchan. The blond hero makes the movie captivating. But having a plot that has double twists helps with the excitement of following the clues of this British mystery. This is a totally enthralling experience, especially for all the Indian Scouts who think they are skilled at tracking down clues. Enjoy ! Sean Axmaker Seanax.com ... sprightly and fun and romantic with a few surprises and a strong pre-war political tension that Hitch wouldn't touch in 1935. Mar 25, 2010 Full Review Read all reviews
