Rusty S I love WWII films, my grandfather was stationed in the Solomon Islands. This is the most low budget, poorly written movie I’ve seen in a long time. The subplots are right out of a B movie. The weapons are clearly made out of rubber and plastic, to the point where it’s embarrassing. The Japanese dialogue looks like it’s dubbed over, which makes no sense. Clearly no one consulted with anyone on military tactics and warfare when choreographing the battle scenes. The comraderie and joking around you usually see in these movies are jammed down your throat in this movie. I could go on and on. Terrible movie.
