Audience Member Watchable, but nowhere near as deep as it wants you to think it is. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member What I got to say about "3 Nights in the Desert" is that it's a good independent movie. "It has moments that are hysterically funny with the humor and will engage you as well." The performances by the cast is so compelling. "Amber Tamblyn, Vincent Piazza, and Wes Bentley are gifted actors that really know to bring the characters to life in a believable way." The directing by Gabriel Cowan is good. The screenplay by Adam Chanzit is a well written with great character development. The cinematography is good. Finally, the score is good as well. "I have to report that "3 Nights in the Desert" is surprisingly a good movie to watch." Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Good to pass sleepless nights away... Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Don't waste your time.... Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Complete waste of time. The story goes nowhere and is not engaging at all. They tried to make it a deep study of people and relationships, but it is not deep or insightful. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Feeling odd, just like this poster here. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Dennis Harvey Variety Needless to say, a lot of unresolved issues rise from hibernation during this rural weekend, but the characters, situations and dialogue too seldom escape cliche in Gabriel Cowan's watchable but unmemorable feature. Feb 4, 2015 Full Review Stephen Farber Hollywood Reporter The film features three gifted actors -- Wes Bentley, Amber Tamblyn and Vincent Piazza -- doing their best to animate a very stale script. Feb 4, 2015 Full Review Kam Williams Baret News If the aim of the picture is to trigger introspection in an audience about the consequences of the choices one makes in life, then bull's eye! Rated: 3/4 Mar 27, 2015 Full Review Nick Allen Movie Mezzanine ...3 Nights in the Desert is a thoroughly unpleasant homecoming of three friends getting the band back together... Rated: 1/4 Mar 12, 2015 Full Review Roger Moore Tribune News Service A three-handed "Big Chill" that goes on two nights too long, and still feels rushed, underwritten, under prepared.
