Audience Member Basically a B Grade Disney film without the actual Disney label. I was going to turn it off after a couple of minutes, but stuck it out and watched till the end. Wasn't too bad. Not something I would highly recommend to watch as there's a lot other better options. Depends how bored you are.. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Very cute teen time-loop movie. I'm not a big fan of time-loop films because there's a set structure to them that doesn't leave much room to break from. This film has the same issue they all do, but it stays entertaining. I feel guilty leaving it a positive review purely because the other issue the film has is much more unforgiving; like almost all teen movies these days, aside from the main character, all the other characters are caricatures. I rather the depth and complexity of John Hughes's teen films' characters had caught on with other screenwriters. In this film, the love interest, Chris, has all the backstory necessary to make him more than the cartoonish dumb jock he is for most of the movie, but it's only used as a set up for an unexpected "twist ending". And, I'll admit, the twist actually warmed my lil heart. So perhaps the high star rating reflects my getting sweet with the film. Also, shout out to Lexi Giovagnoli who is very likeable. I am surprised to say I'm now looking forward to her slasher movie next year. Let's see what else she can do. To sum up, it's an innocent teen film that's very cute. Not a horrible way to spend an hour and a half. Good afternoon/Sunday film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member I've never prayed for meningitis before in my life until about 5 minutes into this show. 1 hr and a bit of film, 10 years of psychotherapy.
