Ma N Sep 3 No serious space corporation would ever start a 400 day test mission like this with 4 persons who are this unprepared, uninformed, instable and incompatible ... including 2 of them which have been a couple and wanted to marry but happened to broke up just 1 day before mission start. Couldn't imagine how this could be any problem... Seriously, who writes a story like this?? See more Uncle J Apr 5 While the movie is pretty well shot, that is where the positives end. 400 Days is fairly predictable for the first hour but then it makes you start to question what will happen next. Unfortunately the answer is nothing. I would say the director deserves high marks and the writer either needed a few more tries at a script or a few more editors. The premise seems simple but the movie takes some crazy turns that left me pondering the meaning of it all. It's a journey through the bleakest world I've ever seen, and it left me genuinely shaken. Why was there a hiss when Dvorak took off his helmet and yet had no oxygen connected to his suit? It's hard to separate potential errors from plotline which makes it hard to understand the film.
