Audience Member Not a good movie. Poorly written, poorly acted, poorly shot, and poorly edited. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/19/24 Full Review Test T I watched this on DVD recently for the second time. First time around, a few years earlier, I was not in the right mood to give it a chance and gave up about 30 minutes in. This time, I was more patient and got to the end. On the plus side, it definitely has a unique style and presentation. It tells it's story in 4 slices, each from the perspective of one of the girls, and by the end if you've been paying attention it might all combine to make sense. I say 'if' and 'might' because if you don't pay close attention it definately won't! It's not that it's a bad film, but it can be very frustrating. It tries too hard be be edgy and confrontational, and I thought it had a really annoying soundtrack which kept making me want to turn it off. The acting and direction is a mixed bag as well, with some scenes coming across poorly. It gets close to being funny at times as well, but I wasn't sure if that was intentional or accidental humour. Over all, I did find it interesting to watch and can just about recommend it as a novelty. Update: I've been looking at the DVD extras and there is an interesting feature I've not seen before called '4.3.2.1 Renumbered'. It allows you to choose a running order for the girl's stories in the film between the opening and ending which are fixed, and since there are 4 girls there are 24 different ways to watch the movie. Now that is really novel so I've added another half star to my rating. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/16/24 Full Review Audience Member While it takes time to establish story, 4.3.2.1. Is filled with chaos, feels off most of the time and has anending that'll leave you feeling unsatisfied. ☆2.3/5 Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member WOW.....WOW....WOW....BAD.....BAD....AWFUL.....MAN THIS MOVIE IS SO SO SO SO AD, IT IT SO SO SO SO DREADFUL, IT IS AN AWFUL MESS OF A MOVIE........ITS GOT A GOOD SOUNDTRACK THROGUHOUT THIS MOVIE, BUT MAN THIS MOVIE IS SO SO SO SO DREADFUL, I DID NOT ENJOY THIS MOVIE AT ALL......WARNING THIS MOVIE CONTAINS STROBE LIGHTNING EFFECTS THROUGHOUT THIS MOVIE, MAN THIS IS SUCH A REALLY REALLY REALLY BAD MOVIE 2 WATCH, IT IS SO DREADFUL, IT IS SO SO SO BAD.....I DID NOT ENJOY THIS MOVIE AT ALL...... Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member gangsta in a way but pretty intense from start to finish Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Two guys with a Tarantino/Guy Ritchie fixation make a "girl power" crime thriller. "Girl power" seems to mean young women run around in their underwear a lot. In the world this movie is set in, people think nothing of answering their door without putting clothes on. Not that this is really a bad thing, but the obvious tension between the movie's ambitions and what ended up on the screen is a constant distraction. There's really not much to distract from. The film's moderately entertaining, especially piecing the multiple plot threads together ... but we've seen this dozens and dozens of times when this was all the rage in the 90s, and I don't think we've really missed it that much.
