Facing death while trudging through a frozen wilderness turns out to be remarkably unexciting in this fact-based drama. Go to Full Review

Stylistically, it's strictly made-for-TV trauma-drama stuff, but it's hard not to admire Hartnett's tenacity in what was surely a physically challenging role and wonder why he hasn't had a better career arc. Go to Full Review

It manages to hit the appropriate beats of this snowbound survival tale (digs ice shelters, scares off wolves, drinks meltwater) while also being incredibly dull. Go to Full Review

The elephant in the room with 6 Below: Miracle on the Mountain is that it is a cheaply made, religious anti-drug movie masquerading as a standard Hollywood film. Go to Full Review

hat sounds like a stirring story of resilience turns out to be a rather plodding movie, which falls back on clichd flashbacks to augment Hartnett's solo privations. Go to Full Review

Josh Hartnett gives a gritty, impressive performance. Go to Full Review

Corey b Jan 15 Couldn't get past the opening; the stopwatch alarm counting: 1, 2, 3, 10. That immediately told me: they don't care about this, so why should I? See more Cork B Jan 13 I kind of feel bad for Hartnett here - he does try. But the whole thing is so ham handed. It is less a harrowing story of survival and more 'dumb guy survives despite himself'. I don't want to make light of the real life suffering here, but it isn't cinematic. Also, I like Hartnett, but geez the guy has one look on his face - like he is having a particularly tough time with #2. That all said, it wasn't the worst thing I have ever seen. See more Dean G 02/20/2024 Completely implausible. Would have died within 2 days without adequate clothing or shelter to guard against the sub zero temperatures. Not to mention the lack of food or water. When a survival movie loses credibility, it becomes farce rather than inspirational See more Brenton D 01/09/2024 He got cold then got rescued that's really about all this has to offer. It definitely doesn't make you feel bad for the cold dude because he seems like a prick and his friend is a dick his dad is a A'hole and his mum just sucks. Has him giving a strange motivational speach to little kids at the end who clearly have no idea what this man is rambling on about to them. See more 01/15/2022 I dunno… it's just… boring. I know it's a true tale of survival but I never really felt in awe of Eric. I'm sure his actual story is much more impressive. Not edge of the seat material this one. Sorry.
