Dean G Completely implausible. Would have died within 2 days without adequate clothing or shelter to guard against the sub zero temperatures. Not to mention the lack of food or water. When a survival movie loses credibility, it becomes farce rather than inspirational Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/20/24 Full Review Brenton D He got cold then got rescued that's really about all this has to offer. It definitely doesn't make you feel bad for the cold dude because he seems like a prick and his friend is a dick his dad is a A'hole and his mum just sucks. Has him giving a strange motivational speach to little kids at the end who clearly have no idea what this man is rambling on about to them. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/24 Full Review Karl B It's a very gripping story. Eric gets lost in the snow, tramps around for several days and then gets found. Unfortunately that's it and they attempt to spin this simple tale into a movie and fail. It's tedious - I had to fast forward several times. Sorry!! The story is true and very moving but does not make a good film. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/10/23 Full Review Audience Member I dunno… it's just… boring. I know it's a true tale of survival but I never really felt in awe of Eric. I'm sure his actual story is much more impressive. Not edge of the seat material this one. Sorry. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member A pretty basic concept of a film...but a pretty powerful performance from Josh Hartnett elevates this into a reasonable watch Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Love this movie. Kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Completely recommend. A must see film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Joe Leydon Variety Facing death while trudging through a frozen wilderness turns out to be remarkably unexciting in this fact-based drama. Oct 20, 2017 Full Review Leslie Felperin Guardian Stylistically, it's strictly made-for-TV trauma-drama stuff, but it's hard not to admire Hartnett's tenacity in what was surely a physically challenging role and wonder why he hasn't had a better career arc. Rated: 2/5 Oct 13, 2017 Full Review Kevin Maher Times (UK) It manages to hit the appropriate beats of this snowbound survival tale (digs ice shelters, scares off wolves, drinks meltwater) while also being incredibly dull. Rated: 2/5 Oct 12, 2017 Full Review Kt Schaefer Substream Magazine The elephant in the room with 6 Below: Miracle on the Mountain is that it is a cheaply made, religious anti-drug movie masquerading as a standard Hollywood film. Rated: 1/5 Nov 8, 2018 Full Review Trevor Johnston Radio Times hat sounds like a stirring story of resilience turns out to be a rather plodding movie, which falls back on clichd flashbacks to augment Hartnett's solo privations. Rated: 2/5 Dec 21, 2017 Full Review Amanda Carnac HeyUGuys Josh Hartnett gives a gritty, impressive performance. Rated: 4/5 Dec 19, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews
