Martin B As 50''s era movies go this one is terrific. Set in a smaller Hawaiian Island before it became a tourist Mecca the plot is engaging with a lot of familiar actors that normally play supporting rolls. Rated 4/5 Stars •  Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/26/24 Full Review Audience Member Watched this film on Netflix Streaming, This is another great film noir hidden gem. I have been told you can see it on TV, I don't know I gave up watching TV 25 Years ago, because of the Constant Junk that's force down our throats. Anyway this movie has Lex Barker (Tarzan) as the main star in a different role. He is on one of the Hawaiian Islands kind of a go between for Cane plantation owners. He becomes involved with a couple who just came to the island, Tricky business is at hand, and the Japanese fifth column is to blame, but plantation owners are blaming a Pilipino, Of course Lex Barker is got the hots or Jungle Heat for the new married blond. I guess junk was on TV in 1957 too. You might not find this one on Amazon, or E-bay, I stumbled across it on Netflix and glad I did. 4 1/2 stars.
