Marjorie Baumgarten Austin Chronicle Full of hackneyed aphorisms and improbable history. Rated: 1.5/5 Jun 12, 2015 Full Review Justin Chang Variety A drama of redemption by way of an American Revolution history lesson, Chad Burns' action-adventure yarn offers little in the way of subtlety or surprise. Jun 5, 2015 Full Review Michael Rechtshaffen Los Angeles Times [A] stagy, overstuffed costume drama. Jun 4, 2015 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com Works well because of a cohesive cast that seems to understand the mission and method behind the film. Rated: 3.0/4.0 Sep 2, 2020 Full Review Megan Basham WORLD The performances and visuals are so good, it's a bit disappointing the over-stuffed plot doesn't equal them. Mar 16, 2018 Full Review Jim Lane Sacramento News & Review laughable would-be epic is even more ridiculous than it sounds Rated: 1/5 Jun 12, 2015 Full Review Read all reviews

Andreas C A family friendly action romance movie (maybe not for the younger kids) that has Christian values. Production is unusually good and my entire family loved it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/19/24 Full Review Carol S Was a wonderful movie!! So refreshing watching something that isn't afraid to mention GOD! I love historical movies about the founding of our country! This is one anyone in your family could enjoy!!! Such a shame there aren't more like it being made! I would have liked to seen a sequel or even a series! Thank you for making such a nice and entertaining movie! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Despite the financial loss of this movie, it is clearly a passion project that shows the strengths of small indie movies. I love the patriotism of this film and the grandiose of the colonial backdrop. William Reynolds is a great protagonist and finds his identity as the hero he always wanted to be in the New World. The movie feels a little too short in the second act, but I really love the story they tell. A wonderful film that is great for all ages. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member A good movie with faith, action, and an American Revolution setting. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie. My kids loved it. Hard to find an action movie without cursing in it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Family-friendly and fun action film. I also love the themes and historically accurate nods. For its type the production quality was quite good! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
