See more 10/22/2024 Here I was, looking for something to watch because the pickings are so few. I like a variety of genres but it's become very hard to find anything worth watching. I decided to check out "Beyond the Mask" not knowing what to expect. I was captivated from the start. It's a little historical fiction, a story of good vs evil & redemption. The production and acting are excellent. I hope they make more movies, whatever topic they like. The Burns family seems to be very multitalented. It's about time. Production is unusually good and my entire family loved it. See more 07/06/2022 Despite the financial loss of this movie, it is clearly a passion project that shows the strengths of small indie movies. I love the patriotism of this film and the grandiose of the colonial backdrop. William Reynolds is a great protagonist and finds his identity as the hero he always wanted to be in the New World. The movie feels a little too short in the second act, but I really love the story they tell. A wonderful film that is great for all ages.
