Matt Brunson Film Frenzy Once the characters are forced to slog through the jungle, viewers are forced to slog through the remainder of the picture. Ricki S Beautifully set in colonial Malaysia with an inspirng cast Of William Holden, Cappocine, Susanah York and Tetsuro Tamba The plot is based on the solid friendship of 3 soldiers at the end of world war 2 and the years following. There are many interesting and unexpected plot twists. It is an inspirational movie set in turbulent times. Susanah York is dasseling and Cappocine draws you to herself. William Holden has a great screen presence as usual and Tamba is a handsome dynamic actor. This is classic cinema not to be missed. This movie is after the war, and film in Malayisa, where the common people want independance and a democratic goverment. William Holden plays a retired Colonel who is a land owner and is very much liked by the local peoplle. The Colonel war buddy is leading a group of rebels (terriorist) to overthrow the British Goverment.
