the critics absolutely hate rural American films that have an organic success like 8 Seconds. this is absolutely a great movie and it's based on a great American story, though tragic ending. This is the culture they hate, Christian rural American and its obvious!

What a beautiful film. Wow. Critics must be the most depressing, hatful people around. Films that reflect an inner beauty get torn to shreds. This is a proper film 🎥 with real performances. Def one of the all time great movies.
