Sapere A Dec 2 A dreadful L and H movie. Until The 1940s their films were wonderful . After Hal Roach, their producers guided them into a world of dreck. See more 02/05/2017 This was actually my first Laurel and Hardy film, and it from their later catalogue. I found the title misleading as the film has nothing to do with ghosts, but rather the guys joining a traveling circus. Weak story and mild laughs. I will try some of their earlier work though as I expect it will be better. Werker's crime caper, but there's no denying that the pair never fail to deliver the goods with some great lines and physical gags. It's a fun venture that always entertains with some knockout special effects, though the final gag fails to hit the bullseye. See more 05/03/2013 The title has nothing to do with this movie as it's not at all a spooky one. It's based around a magic show with a fairly solid story. It's not at all bad for the Laurel and Hardy of the 1940s (I just prefer their 1930s work).
