Audience Member This was actually my first Laurel and Hardy film, and it from their later catalogue. I found the title misleading as the film has nothing to do with ghosts, but rather the guys joining a traveling circus. Weak story and mild laughs. I will try some of their earlier work though as I expect it will be better. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member NOT THAT FUNNY OR UP TO THEIR EARLIER STUFF Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Laurel and Hardy might be more of the comedy relief supporting act in Alfred L. Werker's crime caper, but there's no denying that the pair never fail to deliver the goods with some great lines and physical gags. It's a fun venture that always entertains with some knockout special effects, though the final gag fails to hit the bullseye. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member The title has nothing to do with this movie as it's not at all a spooky one. It's based around a magic show with a fairly solid story. It's not at all bad for the Laurel and Hardy of the 1940s (I just prefer their 1930s work). They were getting older, but they didn't know it and this movie should provide a good time for any Laurel and Hardy fan! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member At times it's like the boys are supporting players. Nothing to do with haunting either.
