John Shelton
John Shelton was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Shelton's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the drama "Dr. Kildare Goes Home" (1940) with Lew Ayres, the comedy "Keeping Company" (1940) with Frank Morgan and "The Ghost Comes Home" (1940) with Frank Morgan. He also appeared in "We Who Are Young" (1940). His film career continued throughout the forties in productions like "Blonde Inspiration" (1941), the comedy "A-Haunting We Will Go" (1942) with Stan Laurel and "Whispering Ghosts" (1942). Shelton was most recently credited in the fantastical comedy "The Family Man" (2000) with Nicolas Cage. Shelton continued to exercise his talent in the forties through the eighties, taking on a mix of projects like "The Time of Their Lives" (1946) starring Bud Abbott, "Square Dance" (1987) starring Jason Robards and "976-EVIL" (1989) starring Patrick O'Bryan. Shelton was married to Irene Winston. Shelton passed away in May 1972 at the age of 58.
