      Reviews Gambler Feet Samuels (Joe E. Brown) is deep in debt and has lost his girl, Hortense (Alice White). He decides to sell his body to science and makes a deal with Dr. Snitzer (Robert Barrat), Hortense's new boyfriend. Samuels agrees to give up his body in one month, living it up in the meantime with the money he is paid.       ashley h A Very Honorable Guy is an interesting film. It is about Feet Samuels who finds himself heavily in debt due to an uncharacteristic gambling binge. Joe E. Brown and Alice White give amazing performances. The screenplay is good but a little slow in places. Lloyd Bacon did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture of the humor and romance.
