Ekaterina D Went to watch it accompanied by live music by The Grigoryan Brothers. It was wonderful, uplifting, pure and just a joy to watch. No sex scenes, no violence, no cheap Action or anything dirty that comes with modern day entertainment industry. Beautiful story that changes you in a good way. Thank you for your hard work! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/13/23 Full Review Akiva Q This beautiful story with stunning cinematography and the outstanding musical score by the Grigoryan Bros is must see cinema. You will be touched and changed by this heartfelt tale of what really matters in life through the eyes of a young Hispanic boy. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I know this has pretty good ratings but so sorry to say me and the wife neither one thought very much of it. I have it way too slow. I don’t recommend it James Welch, Henderson, Arkansas January 16, 2023. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Fantastic film, quirky and humorous, but joyful and endearing. I was left uplifted after watching and have Highly recommended it to all. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Slow, some side plots are completely unrelated to each other and the main plot line, it's a cheat as we never hear THE SONG, only see it's effect, and there's no conclusion/ending/ denouement. It struck me as a shallow attempt to work the whole "Little Miss Sunshine"angle of eccentric characters, without the same success, but it's nice to see some new and reasonably competent actors. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member An unexpected quirky delight. Loved it Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Hagan Osborne FILMINK (Australia) ... charming tale about family, culture, and inclusion. Rated: 15/20 Apr 2, 2021 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy A Boy Called Sailboat is never less than likable, but a little more variance in its beats might have prevented it from settling into a well-worn groove of unrelenting whimsy. Rated: 2.5/4 Jul 24, 2019 Full Review Halli Burton Battle Royale With Cheese There are several aspects of it that I did thoroughly enjoy, notably the picturesque cinematography, the script and the children. May 29, 2019 Full Review Lauren Humphries-Brooks Suddenly A Shot Rang Out It's a special kind of film that can rely on children to drive its story and maintain its charm, but A Boy Called Sailboat pulls it off, evading some of the pitfalls of the quirky indie comedy to deliver something truly wonderful. Feb 1, 2019 Full Review Deborah Krieger MovieJawn A Boy Called Sailboat is an astonishingly assured debut narrative film, managing to be heartwarming but not overly cloying, visually striking without seeming like a formal exercise, thoughtful but probably not too complicated for kids to understand. Jan 31, 2019 Full Review Bill Arceneaux Medium In the end, A Boy Called Sailboat inflicts a forced sense of whimsy that never feels rightfully portrayed or right as is.
