The production may be the best of anything released by DBS Studios. Director Brendan Rudnicki creates an appropriately spooky atmosphere and there are some nice makeup effects.

A Cold Grave is no “elevated horror” or big studio film. Instead, it’s an indie found footage film that works under its own standards and proves that indie horror has a place.

While often compelling and scary, it does hit some of the same failings that plague many such an offering. Still, Rudnicki creates a palpable sense of dread, and Newmark is excellent as the only character on screen for much of the runtime.

I think the concept was there but it was a miss for me. I wish they would have spent more time really fleshing out the characters and the story. Instead they relied way too heavily on predictable jump scares. I really wanted to care about the characters but they are one dimensional. I get that they didn't have a huge budget and as the mom of a film student I don't want to crush anyone's dreams but I just can't recommend this movie.

I just couldn't feel this movie , there was no passion , just a plastic shell with very little back story , it's not the absolute worst acting i have seen , but it's up there 🤪🤔😞

They must have paid some critics to leave good reviews. This movie has terrible acting, is clearly low budget, and is honestly one of the worst movies I've seen it quite awhile. I want my money back.
