      Audience Member Good story line, mediocre acting. Chaplain Rhodes (Pat Boone) where's a Staff Sergeant's uniform with a Chaplain's Cross. They don't go together. Chaplains are Lieutenants or above. Randolph Rhodes is referred to as a Lieutenant 3 times, but in uniform he wears a Captain's insignia. His wife is also referred to as Lieutenant and as an Army pilot. In uniform she wear's a Major's leaf and no pilot wings. The drill team rides into the arena wearing slacks, but does the show in chaps. When they walk into the arena to sign up there are 5 of them, when they ride into the arena to perform there are 8 of them, when they're performing there are 10 of them. As I said, good story line, mediocre acting and poor research/technical supervision/direction. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Great family movie. Would def watch again. For a movie that centered on the military, you'd think they'd make sure military details were scrutinized!!!! A chaplain is an OFFICER not enlisted; yet the rank on the chaplain's uniform was enlisted! And they announced the pilot mother as a Lieutenant, yet on her uniform she was a Major! I mean, really? Something as simple as that and they got it way wrong. Plus, given the status of the mom as missing, the husband would have been notified ASAP when she was located, not arriving as a surprise! And dad, being injured, wouldn't have bed. Brought to be treated at a Veterans hospital! Those little details are what made that part of the movie an insult to those of us who have served in the military!!!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie would have been much better had it not butchered the Military uniforms so badly. There was not a single thing about the soldiers they got correct. All uniforms were wrong, I mean major mistakes. Active duty soldier is wounded but ends up in the local VA hospital. Great story with poor execution. Spend $100 on a veteran to look at be a military advisor.
