On Jan. 22, 1965, the day before the Iranian prime minister is assassinated, a car drives up to a shipwreck. Inside the wreck, a banished political prisoner has hung himself and the walls are covered in diary entries, literary quotes, and strange symbols. Fifty years later, the evidence, including intelligence tape recordings, is found in a box. The contents attest to the fact that the inspector and his colleagues were arrested, but why?

alex h I did not enjoy "A Dragon Arrives" at all, as of how boring it is. The whole idea to make this movie mixed with an actual interview is interesting, but it doesn't work. At some parts you don't understand what's happening, what are the motives of the characters and what they are feeling. This film can not be even called normal, as not a single aspect of it works. The visuals are bad, the actors are portrayed like if they are dolls with emotions being near zero, as well as soundtrack is a total mess and you don't remember any of it, the movie should be 40 minutes long, except of a 1 hour 40 minute watch, as interviews take so much time. It is not what I am searching from a movie, which genre is set to action. I came across it, because my girlfriend recommended it and this is by far the worst movie she has ever told me to watch, as it is so boring it was a struggle to sit through the last HOUR of it only after the first 40 minutes. Don't waste your time, an absolute overrate from critics, 1/10, not a must watch but a must SKIP, don't waste your time, there is a lot of other foreign films to consider.
