The pleasure lies in watching Pugh and Freeman face up and finally come around to one another. It’s not straightforward, a dance of advance and retreat with both revealing their strengths and weaknesses, but it’s always worth watching.

If only the filmmaker had relinquished the rehab template and dared to explore the more obscure corners of a story a hundred times told, A Good Person could have transcended the clichés it's mired on.

Beyond words. This movie left me speechless. It moved me to my core. Performances where spotless so was the writing and Florence Pugh definitely deserves an Oscar.

Excellent portrayals by ALL the actors/characters!! Bravo for showing the power of believing in something or someone, and acting on those beliefs. ALSO . . . excellent way to show a variety of ways people cope with grief, anger, and the importance of forgiveness. We need more movies that empower those who we overlook, ignore, forget about, etc. . . . . . .
