Amanda America Dixon (Jennifer Beals) is the daughter of a Southern plantation owner, but she is ignorant of her mixed racial heritage. Audience Member This was a pretty decent film. It was short and to the point which is good, but I felt had they elaborated on certain scenes it would have made for a stronger film.
