Rarely do music documentaries transcend the conventional biopic form to appeal beyond its subject's existing fan base, but one hopes a filmmaker would at least attempt to surpass mere hagiography. Go to Full Review

"A Man Named Scott" is that rare musician-focused doc, one as sensitive, fully formed and noble in its intentions as Cudi himself. Go to Full Review

Playing like a confessional of sorts, the film is an introspective treat for devoted fans while offering a deep-dive into broader conflicts between art and commerce. Go to Full Review

See more 01/25/2022 This movie is easily top 3 favorites, Cudi talks about his life and his music. Things some people didn't even know had been put in this movie. He is such a down-to-earth guy and has really helped me as well. He has helped me through drugs, suicide, addiction, and depression. His music can reach anyone and send a message. Thank you Cudi. See more 12/19/2021 This is a MUST SEE for both fans and non-fans of KID CUDI. It is an extremely well done piece of documentary art. I was so blown away by CUDI's courage and brutal honesty!! Cudi goes in depth into each album, song by song, discussing his creative process as well as what was going on in his personal life during the album's production. The addition of celebrities like Shia Labeouf and Jaden and Willow Smith is fantastic as well, getting insight into what a friendship/fanship with Cudi looks like. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE!!!
