"A Merry Little Ex-Mas" may or may not count as a comeback for Silverstone, but it's a reminder of her particular talents, and she makes "Ex-Mas" a tiny little holiday treat. Go to Full Review

Predictably, specificity subsides and broader, physical humour takes over, all of it unfunny not only for its lack of originality but for how it forces a mostly adequate cast into outsized cartoon acting that they can’t convincingly pull off. Go to Full Review

Some movies are movies. Other movies are cocoa. 'A Merry Little Ex-Mas' is the latter. Go to Full Review

Alicia Silverstone and Oliver Hudson lead a charming Christmas family romantic comedy that is sweet enough to enjoy, and possibly add to your Christmas rotation. Go to Full Review

It’s meant to make us laugh, cry, and feel warm inside. A Merry Little Ex-Mas does all of that. It’s a film that feels like fuzzy slippers and a mug of hot cocoa and that’s not a bad thing at all. Go to Full Review

Also super funny and fun for family holiday entertainment. This movie made me laugh so hard and the romance literally made me cry. Definitely recommend this if you love romance and drama. See more Scarlet B @Scarletberry Dec 25 I got rotten tomatoes just to review this horror of a movie. When I say horror I mean it, the whole premise of this movie is a family pushing the mother to stay trapped in the small town with her ex husband despite her lifelong dream of leaving to pursue her career. Her ex husband and her kids treat her poorly the whole movie and were meant to call it a "happy ending" when she stays with gets back with him and puts her career aside again. Honestly ridiculous. Sets women back and the side character weren’t even funny because of how hard they went into the stereotype. See more Read all reviews
