Dan Brightmore Little White Lies Above all it's just plain fun, and the songs are catchy, too. Rated: 3/5 Jan 30, 2012 Full Review London Evening Standard Bibo Bergeron's charmingly animated but fiendishly plotted feature is up for an Oscar and just about deserves the compliment for originality, if not for its storyline. Jan 27, 2012 Full Review Peter Bradshaw Guardian The film has something of Hugo's Hunchback of Notre Dame, and indeed King Kong, but has an eccentric style of its own: a decent children's film. Rated: 3/5 Jan 26, 2012 Full Review Joseph Walsh CineVue There are moments where the action drags, but ultimately, A Monster in Paris is worth seeing for the beautiful animation and songs alone. Rated: 3/5 Aug 24, 2018 Full Review Jo Berry The National (UAE) This is almost more for adults than children, who may not appreciate the richly coloured animation, the lovely period-style music or the gentle storyline that relies on warm humour rather than out-and-out laughs. Rated: 3/5 Nov 21, 2017 Full Review Yasmin Shehab Cairo360 It's quaint, a little rustic but magical in its own way. Rated: 3.5/5 Sep 28, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Estuard F Quiero más de esta belleza parisina. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/24 Full Review Julietta : Loved it! The voice cast was very good and the characters were relatable to both kids and adults . Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/12/23 Full Review Hannah B This movie is so pretty, so fun, and the MUSIC??? GOD. There's nothing else like it. Whether you're watching the English version or the French you'll have a blast. Franceour has my whole heart Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/10/23 Full Review Kirby A I remember watching this movie as a kid and being in love with it, and today I still do, sure the animation isn't revolutionary, but the story is so interesting with funny characters that don't become annoying over time. I really enjoy the movies more slapstick humor, and don't even get me started on the music. Overall an amazing experience, that you should definitely watch Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/27/23 Full Review Natalie H I watched "A Monster in Paris." This movie was good with adequate animation and a compelling storyline. It had a mix between romance and adventure. It had two of my favorite love tropes, enemies to lovers and friends to lovers. There was a lot of music in it and as a musically oriented person, I enjoyed the musical performance that was being produced in this animated film. The story keeps you compelled with an overpowered political leader as the villain and a satisfying ending with him getting arrested. It sort of had a "What About Bob?" theme considering a somewhat likable guy ends up going after the protagonist of the story. Many themes of foreshadowing led the plot to carry smoothly and seemed unforced. The movie has a beautiful message that not all "monsters" act like monsters and that many true monsters are driven by their own prideful ambitions and their desire for power.
