Jānis E I'm not going to repeat what I had left on IMDB, but briefly - it is excellent analysis of different kind of human relationship, which broadly couild be generalized as love. Two boys protect and care about each other, while their sexuality is addressing girls in different way: Dylan is searching for sexual adventures, while Antony is falling in romantic love. The scene in brothel once again is stressing this difference, especially in Ivanka's case. Ocean is just playing with love and boys. But there is also mother's and son's love in case of Antony and non-existent brotherly love in case of Dylan. The performance of both young actors Felix Lefebvre and Jeremy Gillet (the filming took place in 2017, and these are really their first big roles) is brilliant and convincing, unfortunately not widely recognized in shadow of their future successes. The film also is mostly unnoticed and underrated, and maybe not so easy perceivable when watching the first time, but opening its small details and even slight humour when you do it repeatedly. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/13/25 Full Review Ty N A neatly crafted vignette of youthful exuberance and recklessness, whose potentially disastrous consequences are rarely considered until too late. The two protagonists manage to survive their misadventures without being arrested or dying. Whatever injuries they supposedly suffer seem to heal quickly. This should be a cautionary tale, but it is not. Heavy drug use, random violence, and high-risk sexual encounters are roadside scenery. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/22/24 Full Review Read all reviews
