Pero que Alvaridad I was not expecting this movie to be so great! Historically inspired films in the DR tend to be as tasty as plain Casabe with a glass of water, but this one is a notorious exception. The atmosphere will be so intoxicating, you'll leave disoriented. Luis José German's performance is magnificent. I'm reading the book and I see him in my thoughts. The image I have connects so accurately with the character, that I can enjoy even more the novel. Worth watching. *** If you're planning on reading the book, you HAVE to watch the movie first. The reading experience will be awesome.*** Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
