Audience Member "Gauge my eyes out with a spoon" would be mild compared to what I felt like doing while watching this film. The decoupage is bad, the acting is over the top to the point it seems forced. Very melodramatic and I'm not kidding when I say I contorted watching this film, so bad it was. The Brazilian film industry should be investing money on independent filmmakers, rather than "influential" people like Arnaldo Jabor, who are only given financial backing to produce this sort of rubbish, because of the government's attempt to push lack of cultural worth, that if it was not being pushed, could raise the bar for others to excel their talents, thus generating some form of real intellectualism for the pseudo-intellectual mass of so-called Brazilian intellectuals.
