haoming Z Oct 26 A taxi driver resonated by democracy, Kim was a working class man who is stingy and just wanted to be safe, but returned to Gwangju for Uprising movement in the end. The outside of Gwangju was a strong contrast which push the mental change. But I bet in reality all the drivers were sent to Defense Security Command or ANSP See more Ana E Sep 11 This was a "Because you watched... we thought you might like..." suggestion on AmazonPrime, and they were spot on. I was captivated throughout the entire film. No points of boredom, no fast forwarding, no multitasking, I was locked in. It was well paced, hilarious, moving, and educational. I strongly recommend this film! One of my favorites. A new fan of Son Kang-Ho. See more Emmanuel Q Aug 2 From comedy, to drama, to tragedy to joy. This movie had me feeling different emotions. Made me shed a tear. Good storytelling See more Howdee D 08/23/2024 Hervorragendes Zeit Zeugnis. I watched this movie primarily because I've seen him in a few other movies and thought he was great, he didn't disappoint. Story is interesting, my knowledge of that period of South Korea was lacking going into it, feels like I got some insight by the end of it. A bit long and has some melodramatic moments amidst actual drama, overall very worth the watch.
