It seemed ridiculous at first and I couldn't help but think how our police force will deal with such a situation in real life. In the movie it feels like they give into her demand really easily, like talking to the prime minister.. But that's not the point here.The point of the movie was to highlight about a major issue of the country -rape and how rapists can roam freely in this country. Naina's story was heartbreaking. And at the end she tells that till you shout in their ears, ppl will ignore u, the system ignores u. It's the reality of the country. And I can't help but think in a country where there are thousands of cases pending in the courts this might be the only way to get justice. It was satisfying when she shoots her rapist. Capital punishment is passed in the movie for rapists, but wait irl our parliament thought that it was "too harsh" of a punishment.
