Hillary B My daughter and I love to watch low budget Christmas movies filmed in a weekend. Even by those standards, this movie is frustrating, largely because it's about a perfectly lovely protagonist who is doing favors for her family the whole movie while being lambasted by a random abusive man who she then is supposed to be in love with? He calls her a "corporate cog" mainly because she appears to have a job. Sorry she doesn't just live the whole year making crafts for a Christmas cart and paying her bills with the Christmas spirit. Something that is delightful, and why we gave the 1.5 stars, is that at one point they transition scenes with the color test pattern. You know the editor saw that was there and thought, "eff it. I'll leave it in. No one cares anyway." Sublime. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 12/23/23 Full Review Wendy W It would have been a lot better if there wasn't music in almost every freaking scene! You could hardly hear the dialogue over the obnoxiously loud and entirely unnecessary music! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/22/23 Full Review Amy M There were only eight people in the entire movie, and all they did between conversations was shoot pictures of the trees, the decorations in the window, the decorations in the kitchen… The script was tried in in places, didn't even fit with the scene. See actors with a D script… Sad because the settings really were beautiful. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/16/23 Full Review Virginia K Very boring movie. The story is very disconnected and poorly written and the acting is terrible. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
