That is exactly the case with "A Viking Saga: Darkest Day." while the film is not epic in any sense of the term, it is a solid period piece. Welsh director, Chris Crow does so much with so little. Acting, score and authenticity were fair, no over the top action, just story. If your into these period type movies, and can live without the over the top Hollywood style action, you'll likely be OK with this one.
