Jacoba Atlas Los Angeles Free Press This latest piece of sensational junk will no doubt go down in the books as one of the cheapest shots movies have ever taken at society. Nov 22, 2019 Full Review Bernard Drew Gannett News Service It is so awful, so badly done, so hilarious in its straight faced efforts' to walk the line between serious sociology and soft core porn, such a pathetic joke from beginning to end. Audience Member Radical group abducts daughter of rich businessman with demands to have his new housing high rise levelled right before it opens as a protest against the fact it became luxury suites instead of its originally intendered low-income housing. Despite being raped by both men and women in the group, the kidnapped woman turns her back on her family and joins their cause. One thing that hurt this film is the vagueness of the goals of the radicals. I was never quite sure what exactly they stood for although I had to laugh at the background of one radical woman, who was indentified as a member of a "militant" women's liberation organization. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Privileged woman is abducted by politically motivated campus radicals in extortion attempt against her father's condo development. Captive eventually becomes drawn to the cause of her abductors, despite their brutal treatment. Nearly identical story to the Patty Hearst kidnapping (which is a fascinating case), even though disclaimer at the outset says any similarities to real persons is coincidental.
