David W It's not Adkins best film but he's very good in it and daft plot not withstanding, it's a lot of fun if you just go with it and don't over analyse. Some of the supporting cast aren't up to Adkins level of acting though and surprisingly for an Adkins movie it would have benefitted from a little more action. Still, it certainly had its moments and was well worth a watch. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/09/24 Full Review Rebecca S I usually like to see Scoot Adkins in action if I want to relax and don't want to engage my brain - you know what you are going to get, fast paced martial arts. This time I waited for any kind of plot to develop or even for the movie to get better......waiting here is seriously overrated. It got worse and worse...30 minutes in I had to stop. A whole lot of complete and utterly ridicolous nonsens. Save your time. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/17/24 Full Review Nigel B It's one of those films you think will get better - oh dear god belive me it doesn't it gets worse and dafter. Just don't - go whack your big toe with a hammer much more fun 🤦‍♂️ Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/05/23 Full Review Audience Member There are some decent parts to this very cheesy movie, but they are few and far between. I would class it as slightly entertaining, for me if they had a major star playing the main role rather than Adkins it might have turned out differently; it just lacks some of the basics for me. The story is decent enough however, I just wish it delivered. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Good action scenes attached to a supremely daft plot with a bizarre and creepy ending. It's not great. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I like the movie I was very into it fight scenes were cool. the only thing that bugs me is how it ended I get it if there would be another movie to this like them finding a way to get connor back or connor side finding a way back I wanted to see the other side the side connor speared the unknown into to I think it would be cool to see where he went. Noel Murray Los Angeles Times The film is only a modest amount of fun - but fun is fun. Jun 7, 2019 Full Review Justin Harrison Birth.Movies.Death. It works more often than it does not. Jul 16, 2019 Full Review Ed Travis Cinapse Slight and silly, but ultimately satisfying, Abduction delivers what action/sci-fi fans are looking for Jun 22, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews
