Audience Member I watched this film about five years ago and I really enjoyed it, of course I was only 13 at the time but I really liked the story and the ending and I thought it was something different for a film idea. Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Instead of preaching to their audience about endangered apes, these filmmakers should spend time studying how to make good movies. I hold family movies to a lower standard, but the acting and dialogue in this flick were beyond pitiful. The portrayal of the sheriff and deputies was one-dimensional and completely unbelievable. You would think kids, but those kids play such a small role in the actual plot? I mean, what's up? The actor playing the monkey was great, though.
