Melissa R I tried to watch but couldn’t get past the unrealistic concept and poor acting. Thumbs down Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/09/25 Full Review Lee R Terrible is all I can say Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/14/24 Full Review Olivia P Abigail is a brilliant film showcasing the problem of bullying. The actors add to the weight of the story. Well-paced, directed, and written, this stands tall as a little film that achieves its goals. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/24 Full Review S.L L Ave Cantrell delivers an outstanding performance in the role of Abigail, marking her as a truly exceptional talent. Set in 1976, this gripping narrative follows Abigail, a troubled teenager, and her mother as they relocate to a quaint town in Alabama, aiming to leave behind Abigail's tumultuous history. There, she forms an unlikely bond with her neighbor, Lucas, a victim of relentless bullying at school. Intent on aiding Lucas in his quest for retribution, Abigail takes bold steps, but soon finds herself in a downward spiral. As Lucas uncovers the increasingly dark facets of Abigail's personality, the plot takes a perilous turn. Faced with a critical decision, Lucas must determine whether to remain loyal to Abigail or intervene to prevent further tragedy. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/24 Full Review Ross W This movie was surprising, not horror though. It was more like a thriller with some horror elements. I didn't see the ending coming but after it kind of all makes sense. They seem like they set it up for a sequel which could be cool if the Abigail character becomes even more messed up. I love the 70s setting but maybe the next one could be 80s with them a bit older. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/24 Full Review Janina C 70s! Great cast! Super fun thriller! ( biased review as I'm the costume designer) lol Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/21/24 Full Review Read all reviews
